What's new in Ribbon
Every release, newest first. Ribbon updates itself — or choose Check for Updates… in the Ribbon menu.
Ribbon 1.2.0 Latest
- NewA practice tape in the welcome window. Try the real shortcuts on sample windows before anything on your screen moves.
- NewPress ⌃⌥/ for a cheat sheet of every shortcut, over any app. Esc or a click puts it away.
- NewMove any shortcut to another key in Settings › Shortcuts. The modifier keys stay shared, and Ribbon stops two commands from using the same key.
- NewPer-app rules in Settings › Apps. Give an app its own width, and open its windows at the start or end of the tape.
- ImprovedThe welcome window explains the Accessibility permission before you open System Settings, including what Ribbon never does.
- ImprovedA setup check spots other window tools that are running and macOS's own edge tiling.
- FixedThe tab bar above a tabbed column now sits at the normal window level, so menus, dialogs and other windows can cover it.
Ribbon 1.1.0
